Busy weeks full of meetings, work events and making last-minute plans can lead to snooze button abuse and no time for hair washing and blow drying. Skipping shampoo a few times a week leads to healthier strands, but it can also leave your hair looking a little flat or greasy after a day or two. Yet, if today is the day you are supposed to go to that formal meeting with your co-workers, then why don’t you style your hair into a beautiful wrapped bun. It’s a super pretty way to disguise day-old hair, and it’s ridiculously easy to recreate.

For this tutorial you will need a comb, a hairspray, a few bobby pins, donut to make the bun and a clear rubber band. Check out the step by step guidance below.

Step 1: Brush your locks through to ensure they’re smooth and free from tangles. Then, divide your hair into three parts – one on the crown and two at the bottom. Make a ponytail from the top section using a donut. Place a donut at the base of the pony and secure it with enough bobby pins to keep it secured. For this hairstyle to work, you need a small almost invisible rubber band that will not stand out against your hair.

Step 2: Grab the right bottom section and bring it upwards.

Step 3: Take the two front sections and wrap them around the base of the pony by twisting them and pinning them in place. Take the other twist and wrap it on top of the first twist.

Step 4: Secure the bun with a few bobby pins. Finally, mist a hairspray all over your chic twisted bun to protect your hairstyle from falling down easily. As for the final touches, simply smooth down any stray hairs.
