This half-up hairstyle has two strands of hair that connect into a little bubble braid at the back of your head and is so quick and easy to do. It is a great look for wearing any day of the week because it is casual enough for errands yet can easily be dressed up for dinner out. This is of course a great look for daughters and works equally well with both long and half length hair. If you are eager to learn how to recreate the bubble half-up hairstyle, then keep on reading the steps below!
Step 1: Brush your hair well. In order for the bubble to achieve its full effect, then your lengths should be as smooth as possible. If your hair is naturally a bit wavier, then straighten your hair before continuing to the next step. Start on one side by separating a small section of hair next to your ear. Tie this hair section with a rubber band and wrap it around twice, so the hair tie fits tightly.
Step 2: Now use your fingertips to split the braid and make a small hole in the middle just above the rubber band. Pull through the section.
Step 3: Fasten the inverted effect and continue with the next step.
Step 4: Continue adding rubber bands down the strand. Follow the same method to create the inverted effect. Gently pull the edges to add volume.
Step 5: Do the same on the other side by picking another small section next to the ear.
Step 6: Guide both strands towards the back and connect them in the area of the last hair tie with an additional band. Finish off the look by wrapping a small section of hair around the elastic band and tying another rubber band over the ends to keep the braid in tight all day long.
