Let’s face it – we would love to live in a world where we always get a full eight hours of sleep a night – but that’s just not reality. Sometimes we stay up way too late clicking around our follower’s Instagram stories or watching our latest Netflix obsession till 3 AM. And in the morning, we see the end result – tired face with dark circles underneath our eyes. If this holds true for you, then you’ve come to the right place! To correct any mistakes from last night, you need to know how to blend your eye makeup using soft shades that will make you feel well rested and fabulous in just a few minutes! This particular tutorial is focused on smooth green and brown eyeshadow hues.
Step 1: Grab your waterproof brown eye pencil and run it from the inner corner of the lid, towards the end, following the crease line. Then, add a diagonal line from there to connect the end of the crease with the end of your lid.
Step 2: Deepen the pencil lines by applying soft brown shadow on top. Smudge the colour with a fluffy brush towards the eyebrow.
Step 3: Start filling the centre of the lid with soft green eyeshadow all the way to the brown pencil lines.
Step 4: Run the brown pencil to the waterline several times until is properly smudged and blended.
Step 5: As a final step, apply black mascara on your lashes. For the top lashes, look straight forward in the mirror, take the wand, place it at the base of your lash line and use back-and-forth motions to distribute the color. When it comes to the bottom lashes, switch to a waterproof formula as it works best on lower lashes, preventing the color from smudging.
Apply your favourite false eyelashes for a glamorous finish! Remember to place them where your natural eyelashes begin, look down and press the strip lash against your lash line in the centre, the outer edge and inner corner.
