Taco Pizza

1 pound of ground beef

2 tablespoons of taco seasoning

1 pizza dough

1 cup of grated cheese

1 cup of lettuce

1 cup of tomatoes

1 avocado

sour cream to taste

salt to taste

black pepper to taste

Step 1

First you need to prepare the ground beef filling for the taco pizza. Get a non-stick pan and heat it. In a couple of seconds add the pound of ground beef in the pan and spread it evenly. Season it with some salt and black pepper to your taste and mix the ground beef well.

Continue stirring the ground beef from time to time in order to cook it evenly. And when the ground beef turns brownish sprinkle the tablespoons of taco seasoning on top of the ground beef and mix it well so it is seasoned evenly.

Continue stirring the ground beef for a minute or so more and when it is nicely cooked, you can take the pan off the hot plate.

Leave the ground beef mixture aside to cool down for now, until you bake the pizza dough.

Step 2

To bake the pizza dough you need to get a baking tin first and apply some cooking oil, or olive oil on the bottom of the tin so that the dough does not stick on the tin. Then spread the pizza dough on the tin evenly.

Make sure you choose a tin that is big enough to spread the dough in it. If there is not enough room to spread the dough in, the pizza crust will become too thick and there is a chance that is does not get nicely baked.

Once you spread the pizza dough in the tin, you need to bake it for 10 minutes at 200 0C. You also need to preheat the oven so the dough gets completely baked and it does not come out rare at places.

Step 3

When the pizza crust is baked, you need to take the tin out of the over. Then, without taking the crust out of the tin, spread the cooked ground beef mixture on top of the pizza crust and make sure it is spread evenly. Then you need to sprinkle the grated cheese on top of the ground beef layer.

Then you need to bake it for some more time in order for the cheese to melt. Bake it again at 200 0C for 5 minutes. When the time is up, take the tin out of the oven and continue layering the taco pizza.

Step 4

Wash the lettuce and cut it into pieces and then spread it evenly on top of the pizza. Then do the same with the tomatoes: wash them, cut them into cubes, or slice them if you prefer and then spread them evenly on top of the layer of lettuce.

Then get the avocado. Cut it in halves, remove the stone and scrape the flesh from the peels. Then you need to cut it into pieces, preferably the same ones you cut the tomatoes into. And then spread it evenly on top of the layer of tomatoes.

Finally you need to apply sour cream to your taste on top of the last layer. You again need to make sure you spread it evenly and also you need yo make sure you not apply way too much sour cream because when one has the taco pizza, the situation can get really messy for them. So have this in mind.

Step 5

Once you are ready with this, the only thing left for you to do is to cut the taco pizza in pieces. They could be square ones and not typical triangular ones to escape from the traditional slice of pizza shape.

And you are ready! Enjoy your meal!
