Pigtails are back! Not that they were ever totally out of style! When we were little girls we had high pigtails that were so cute. Contrary to what some may think, pigtails are not just for little girls. You too can rock this hairstyle no matter the occasion or age! Now follow the simple steps below and learn how to master the no parting pigtails look.

First, you need to curl the ends of your hair to make the whole hairstyle cuter and more feminine. Start with your hair nicely brushed to remove any knots or tangles. Since you are about to use a heat styling tool, it is very important to add a heat protection spray. This way your hair will be protected from split ends, breakage, dryness and lack of luster. Divide the hair into several parts so it will be easier for you to add the curls. Then, take a 1″ curling iron and start curling the ends. Wrap a relatively large part of the tail around the barrel of the curling wand. Wait for a couple of minutes before releasing the curl. Repeat the process with the next section of your hair. To create soft waves and for your hairstyle to look more natural, comb though the curls to break them slightly. Now that you have curly ends, it’s time to make the pigtails.

Step 1: Begin by parting the hair off to one side in the front.

Step 2: Then take the top half and loosely put it in a rubber band on one side.

Step 3: Take the bottom half and pull it to the other side and rubber band it.

Step 4: To make the style look more mature, feel free to tug up on a few sections above the elastic, above the teasing, to add a volume. Add any ribbons, bows, headbands, or other accessories to your liking.
