It’s that amazing, hot time of the year when you have to pull out your denim shorts, strapless top and cute sandals from the closet and spend every possible weekend at the beach. While you are choosing which sunscreen would be most appropriate for your skin and which beach hat will match perfectly with your swimsuit, don’t forget to style your hair! This pictorial will show you how easy it is to make one of the loveliest and prettiest hairstyles ever. There is no hairstyle which looks more natural, carefree, and beautiful than the beach waves!

Step 1: Add a little leave-in conditioner on your ends and lengths of your hair. You can also invest in a special beach waves tousling spray to maximize volume and waves. Since you are about to use a heat styling straightener, it is very important to add a heat protection spray. This way your hair will be protected from split ends, breakage, dryness and lack of luster.

Step 2: Begin curling your hair, one thin section at a time. Wrap a small section of your hair around the straightener, starting from the roots, and twist your hand outwards as you go. This way your waves will look more natural and bouncy.

Step 3: Continue wrapping and twisting the section until you reach the very end of the strand.

Step 4: Following the same technique, repeat the process with the next section of your hair.

Step 5: If you want your hair to look longer, do not curl your bottom layers from the root to the end. Instead, place the straightener in the middle and curl the last four inches. This way the uncurled section of your hair will be hidden by the top curls!

Step 6: As a final step, shake your hair and apply some hairspray all over your hairstyle to keep your waves in place longer. Again, you can apply some leave-in conditioner on your ends and you are ready!
