How to Get Rid of Cellulite

Statistics show that about 80% of all women in the world have cellulite. There are women do not worry at all about it and do not mind it. Other simply want to be flawless and search for different ways to get rid of their cellulite. It is debatable whether one can get rid of cellulite for good if their body is prone to cellulite formation.

But in any case if you want to cut down the cellulite on your body, you need to be careful about what you are eating and how you are treating your body. Here are some things that will help you get rid of your cellulite if you are consistent.

#1 Use coconut oil

The first of the tricks you can try if wanting to get rid of cellulite is massaging your skin with coconut oil. There are a lot of benefits that coconut oil has and that is why it is almost necessary to have coconut oil at home. What you need to do if you want to use it for getting rid of cellulite is to massage the cellulite effected areas with it every day.

And for even better results you may use a body brush instead of massaging it with your hands. When rubbing the bristles of the brush into the skin, you will stimulate the body’s lymphatic system and this way you will be able to get rid of cellulite faster and easier compared to using your hands.

#2 Use coffee

The next trick which you can use if you want to get rid of the cellulite is to use coffee. You could massage your body with coffee grounds before taking a shower. To make the procedure even faster and more effective you should combine coffee and coconut oil.

You will need ¼ cup of coffee grounds, 2-3 tablespoons of melted coconut oil (it is preferable to be still hot as well), and 3 tablespoons of brown sugar. Mix them all well and rub the mixture into your skin. Before that you need to rinse your skin with hot water which will open the pores.

The sugar will work as an exfoliation. Massage your skin with the paste and leave it for about 15 minutes on it to work its magic. Then you can rinse it. For best results possible you need to repeat it 3 times a week.

#3 Be careful what you eat

Food is also very important when trying to get rid of cellulite. People say that you are what you eat. So if you do not want to have cellulite, you should avoid certain foods and eat ones that will help you get rid of it.

The first one in the list is blueberries. They have ingredients which are good for your skin which means that having a handful of blueberries every morning will not only help you get rid of cellulite, but will also help you have healthy and glowing skin.

Another kind of food which you should definitely include in your menu is walnuts. Walnuts have a lot of omega 3 fatty acids which help your skin becomes well hydrated from within which will also help get rid of cellulite.

Walnuts are very good for your brain as well, so if you are still a student and you want to be able to remember information easily, have a handful of walnuts an hour before you start studying. By eating walnuts you will both have brains and beauty.

#4 Water, water, water

Water is very important for one’s looks. If you want to have beautiful skin, you need to drink a lot of water to keep your skin hydrated. If you are not much into water, then you could drink freshly-squeezed fruit or vegetable juices. Remember that not all kinds of liquids are the best and can keep your skin hydrated.

Coffee, for example, is a kind of liquid, but dehydrates your body instead of hydrating it. The same goes for the different kinds of alcohol. By drinking plenty of water you will help your body get rid of the toxins in the body cells. This will also be of help when trying to get rid of cellulite.

#5 Break a sweat

Another way you will get rid of cellulite is to start doing sports if you still have not. It is not necessarily that you should go to the gym every day, or do some sport in particular. You could go for a run in the park, go cycling, or just do some exercises at home. The important thing is to keep your skin tight. When you are looking for the perfect exercise, you should definitely consider focusing on your hips and pelvis – the parts where cellulite usually occurs. This will help yourself as well.
