Today I’m going to teach you how to make your eyes look bigger with makeup. Just take into account some tips and tricks and you will be on your way to conquer the world with bigger looking eyes!
Step 1: Before applying any makeup on, creating a flawless base that brightens and enhances your final overall look is an essential first step that you should not skip. Choose the right primer for your skin type and apply it to your eyelid. Even though you want the primer to cover your eyelid completely, your best bet is to use a very small amount of it and gently dab it on your lid with a foundation brush. This way you will create a smooth and soft base for your makeup.
Step 2: To add depth to your makeup, use a thin brush dipped in brown or black eyeshadow and outline your crease line. This line will act as guidance for the next steps.
Step 3: As shown on the picture, apply a generous amount of black eyeshadow at the outer corner of your eye. Make sure you outline your bottom lash line with the black shadow. You can blow on the brush after dipping it into the shadow to ensure you won’t ruin your eye makeup with unwanted shadow dust. When blending the black shadow, don’t let your eye liner get out of control. If your hand feels unsteady, rest your pinky finger on your cheek for extra stability.
Step 4: Use a black eye pencil to draw a thick line on your waterline as well. Remember not to apply the lines all the way around your eyes as doing so will cause your eyes to look smaller.
Step 5: As a final step, apply several coats of your long-lasting mascara to really give you the big eye effect that you are looking for!
