Water is essential for the organism and it is important that we supply our body with it daily. Many of us believe that milk, juice or carbonated drinks can keep us hydrated. But that’s not really true. Milk is a healthy drink, but juice and soft drinks are loaded with empty calories and sugar, along with other fillers and chemicals that are harmful to our health. In the fall and winter months we may not feel thirsty for water because of the cold weather, but the body will need fluids as much as in the summer.
