There are so many mascaras on the market with so many advertisements that it is inevitable to start wondering what type of mascara would you prefer. Some women prefer to use products that they trust in, in other words, to use mascaras from some of the most famous makeup brands in the word. Other women, however, find these brands too expensive to use, that is why they prefer some of the cheaper products. This, of course, does not mean that their mascaras will cause some kind of rash on your face or would be the reason for your eyelashes to fall down. You can still find cheap and fairly good mascaras.
That is why today we are going to show you how to choose the right mascara for you, without having to spend a lot of money on it.
Tip #1 The mascara wand
When you think of mascaras, which is the first thought that comes to your mind? Well, that probably would be nice and long lashes, but if you think again the thought would probably include the wand with which you apply the mascara on your eyelashes. It takes a huge part in the applying of mascara. Some women even choose their mascaras according to their wands. If they do not feel comfortable while applying the mascara, how are they going to have a nice complete eyelash look? So, the mascara wand is important.
Tip #2 How to choose your mascara wand
After you have come to realize that mascara wands are quite important, sometimes even more important the mascara itself, it is time to learn how to choose the right wand for you. One of the things you can do, is just to try all different kinds. Or you can first look at the kinds, and then try those ones that appeal to you the most. So, here are all different kinds of mascara wands.
Oversized – More volume
The first in our list is the mascara wand that is oversized. This kind of wands are the ones that are designed to give your lashes more volume, especially if they are tapered at the top. This way when you apply mascara on the tips of your lashes, you will find it quite easy.
Spherical – Separates
The next brush in our list is the spherical one. All of us have probably had problems with lashes stuck together, it is quite unpleasant and you start wondering how to separate them. Well, if you have this kind of problem, then use the spherical brush. It will separate and define your lashes with no efforts at all.
The oversized tapered mascara want will add volume to your lashes, while the thin tapered one will define them. And again, it would be quite easier for you when you apply mascara in the tips of your lashes, because you will no longer accidentally touch with the wand you nose or eyelids.
Curved – Lifts and curls
As the very name of this brush suggests, its main purpose is to lift your lashes, and to make them curlier in their tips. This will give you a nice, cure doll-eye look. So, use this kind of brush if you are striving to achieve it.
Small Brush for Bottom Lashes
You know how hard it is to apply mascara on your bottom lashes. They are so short and using longer mascara bristles than them is hand not only when applying, but it is also hard not to make a mess under your eyes. That is why you should use mascara wand with shorter bristles for your bottom lashes.
Silicon Brush – For all of the above
And if you want to combine all of the things mentioned above using only one brush, you can do it with a silicon brush. It will define and separate your lashes. It will also add volume and will curl, especially if it is with a spherical top. Only be careful not to poke your eyes with it, because it would be much more painful, than poking it with a regular mascara wand.
