How to apply eyeliner with false eyelashes have never been easier thanks to this tutorial! Before you begin with this eyeliner makeup look, cut an inch-long piece of Scotch tape and place it underneath your bottom lashes at the outer corner of your eye and angle it towards the end of your eyebrow. This unconventional beauty aid will help guide you when applying intense pigment, especially if you are going for a more daring look like this one.
Step 1: Use your dark brown shadow to outline your crease line. Start from the inner corner following your crease all the way to the outer corner.
Step 2: Apply shimmery shadow to the inner corner of your lid to pop up the look.
Step 3: Grab your black liquid eyeliner and trace your upper lash line. Remember to press the eyeliner onto your lash line really well so there are no gaps between the lash line and the liner. To create the wing at the end, draw a thin diagonal line from the other corner of your eye towards the end of your eyebrow. Make sure the liner gradually gets thinner as you finish it off at the end. The length depends entirely on you but try not to extend it all the way up to the eyebrow itself.
Step 4: Use the black eyeliner to outline your lower lash line for a more dramatic look. For best results, use a waterproof formula for this step. Chances are you may have mess up a time or two, so use a Q-tip to clean up any imperfections.
Step 5: Apply purple shadow to the crease line and blend. Then, add a darker shade to the crease line and blend again.
Step 6: Apply 2 to 3 coats of black mascara on both your top and bottom lashes. Apply your favourite false eyelashes for a glamorous finish! Remember to place them where your natural eyelashes begin, look down and press the strip lash against your lash line in the centre, the outer edge and inner corner. For an eye-lifting effect, place the outer extension slightly above the natural lash line.
