People need to accept who they are and need to be comfortable in their own skin. However, in order to do that they sometimes need to change some of their habits. Maybe they need to cut on some bad habits of theirs or to become more positive about their lives. Or they may need to lose some weight in order to feel pretty.

There are a lot of people who want to lose some weight in order to have that self-esteem they need in their lives. Some of them, however, find it difficult because they do not have that much time to work out, or to cook food themselves. Or maybe their metabolism is too slow and this gets in their way.

Today we have decided to help those of you who want to lose some weight fast. In fact, this is absolutely possible if you make some small changes in your daily routine. So, here is how you can lose 10 pounds in 1 week!

#1 Have a detox drink before breakfast

The first thing you can start your day with after you wake up is a refreshing detox drink which will not only help you wake up faster and feel fresher without having to drink coffee, but also speed up your metabolism.

When you get up in the morning you need to squeeze a 1 lemon into a glass of cold water. Mix them together and drink it on an empty stomach. Then you can move on to doing your regular morning routine.

You also should have breakfast at least half an hour after you have had the drink in order to make it do its magic. You should have this drink regularly for a week if you want to meet the results. And why not turn it into a regular morning habit?

#2 Have fruits for breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it gives you energy to start your day with full power. But what kind of breakfast should people really have? Fruits. Fruits are very healthy and contain a lot of vitamins. They can give you the power you need to go through your tasks and to stay energized up to lunch time.

In fact, the best time of the day to have fruits is in the morning on an empty stomach because they are quickly digested by your body and there will be no other food in your stomach that will block their way. It is best to have only 1 type of fruit in the morning and not mix different fruits in order to help the food get digested faster and use the maximum of its positive ingredients.

#3 Lunch with proteins

The next step which you can follow if you are trying to lose 10 pound in just one week is to have a healthy breakfast with proteins. You need to have some kind of meat, probably steak, which is grilled, baked, or boiled but not fried.

You can have the meat with some fresh salad or cucumbers and tomatoes. The important thing is not to have carbohydrates, this means to skip the bread part. However, it is recommended to have a couple of cups of milk or yogurt. This will satisfy your hunger and help you forget about bread.

#4 Eggs and a cucumber for dinner

The last meal of the day should not be had later than 6 pm. This way you will give your stomach enough time to digest the food before you go to bed. If you find it difficult not to eat anything after 6 pm you can drink green tea and keep your mind busy with something else to distract yourself. The first couple of days are the hardest but after that you will get used to having dinner so early.

Another thing which is important to do when you have breakfast is to remember that it should consist of a couple of hard boiled eggs and some cucumber or green salad. The good part is that you can season it with some olive oil and you can make a really big bowl of this salad for dinner.

#5 Drink green tea after dinner

And since we mentioned that having some green tea after dinner will help you forget about the hunger, we also need to mention that the recommended dose of it is 1 liter. You need to boil 1 liter of water and add 4 tea bags in it. Let them stay there for some time and then you can have the drink.

Make sure you drink it not in one go but have small amounts of it after you prepare it up to you go to bed. Since it is a whole liter of tea you need to have in mind that paying frequent visits to the toilet are inevitable and good for you.
