The first of the skin conditions is very common and this is dry skin which as a result becomes itchy. People face this problem mainly in the winter when the weather is cold and not very flattering to the skin. It basically dries it out. A way of dealing with this condition is first prevention and then protection.

You need to protect your skin in the winter and when the weather is windy by wearing scarves, gloves, etc. You also need to make sure you hydrate your skin deeply. You need to regularly apply creams on your body, especially such ones with deep hydration. If you do not do this, your skin will continue to be dry and itchy.

And one more thing you need to do is to make sure you exfoliate your skin regularly. Exfoliation will help you get rid of the dry skin cells and at the same time it will increase the blood flow in your skin which will make it softer and glowier.

If, however, there are other symptoms, like fatigue or weight loss, you need to consult a doctor immediately because this could be a sign of some more serious health condition.

#2 Oily skin

Another very common type of skin is the oily one. This is the result of one’s skin producing too much oil. If the pores are clogged or if the oil produced by the skin is too much, then the result is pimples and zits. It is no secret that they are very irritating and can take a lot of time to cure.

So how to reduce the production of so much oil?

The first thing you need to do is to start eating healthy food. You need to have more fresh fruit and vegetables and even better, have bio products. You also need to cut on fry food and especially junk food if you have it. You can also try some detox diets and have detox tea.

And one of the best advices, no matter what kind of problem you are dealing with, is drink plenty of water. And this does not go for any kind of liquid, only for water. Your skin will become fresher and better hydrated.

Other things you can do in case of too oily skin is to apply skin care products that will clean your skin and will reduce the excess production of oil. But you also need to remember that you should not forget to apply hydration cream on it.

Even if your skin is too oily you should not forget to hydrate it in order to have healthier skin. A lot of people think that if their skin is oily, they should not apply any creams on it in order not to make it oilier. This, however, is not the case. You should always apply hydration products on your skin regularly to keep it healthy.

#3 Acne

The next thing your skin may be trying to tell you is connected with acne. There are a lot of people who think that only teenagers may have acne because of hormones. But this is not the case. Adults may also have to deal with acne and the main reason for this is stress. When one is too stresses their skin reacts and acne flares up.

If you want to get rid of it, then you need to take some time off work, or off your daily tasks and relax. Maybe your skin is trying to warn you that you cannot handle the stress and you need to take it easy. You may go on vacation or have a relaxing massage and a day in the spa.

You also need to know that you may have to change your working habits and take it easy in general. Stress is not anyone’s friend and it is often the cause of some very serious illnesses. So, remember to relax and take it easy.
