Once the initial excitement of planning a wedding wears off, most brides are faced with a tough reality: how much does a bride has to spend to have the perfect eye makeup look. With some adjustments, any girl can have her dream day without forking over her life savings — with a little thriftiness, that is. One of the best ways to save money without compromising on the ceremony or after party is by doing your makeup yourself! If you are the type of bride who wants to save a little money and doesn’t mind taking her wedding day look into her own hands, this step-by-step makeup tutorial is just for you.
Step 1: Apply shimmery shadow to your brow bone. For this step, it’s better to use a nice brush which blends and blurs foundation for a soft-focus, airbrushed effect which also provides fuller coverage. To highlight your brow bone, use a soft white or cream colour directly under the eyebrow along the arch.
Step 2: Take another brush and apply dark brown shadow to the crease line.
Step 3: With your blending brush, smudge the brown shadow on the crease, gently swiping the brush towards the brow itself. Sweep the brush back and forth several times to blend and to soften any harsh lines.
Step 4: Fill in your lid with shimmery shadow.
Step 5: Grab your black liquid eyeliner and apply it above your upper lash line, creating beautiful wing at the end. Place your pinkie finger against your cheek to ensure additional stability and control. One thing you need to remember after applying eyeliner is to curl your eyelashes for a fabulous makeup finish.
Step 6: Apply brownish shadow to the lower lash line and smudge it.
Step 7: Then add black waterproof eye pencil to the waterline.
Step 8: Apply 2 to 3 coats of black mascara on both your top and bottom lashes.
