When a person is hungry they often cannot think about anything else but the food they are about to have. When a person is hungry, they are not that productive and this is why it is best to have a couple of bites of food than staying hungry. Luckily, there are recipes which are easy and fast to prepare and you can have them as soon as possible.
Today we have prepared for you such easy and fast recipes that will satisfy your hunger. And yes, they are very delicious. Today’s recipes are delicious wraps. Check out the recipes!
#1 Chicken Wrap
1 piece of flatbread
2 slices of provolone
2 leaves of fresh lettuce
½ cup of cooked chicken, rotisserie chicken
6 cherry tomatoes
2 tablespoons of ranch dressing
First you need to put the flatbread in a plate. Then put on top of it the slices of provolone which need to be equally positioned so they cover most of the flatbread. Then wash the lettuce leaves and put them on top of the provolone slices making sure they take the central part of the wrap.
Then you need to cut the cooked chicken into pieces, or you could simply tear it with your hands. Make sure the pieces are not too big neither too thick. And then simply put the chicken on top of the lettuce leaves and make sure they are mainly in the center. Then wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them into halves. Put them on top of the cooked chicken.
Finally, you need to apply the tablespoons of ranch sauce on top of the rest of the ingredients. Try to cover as much surface as possible. And once this is ready you need to wrap it all together leaving the stuffing inside the flatbread.
And then your wrap would be ready. You could cut it in halves so you could have it two times instead of one. That is, if you are not too hungry. If you want, you could have it with some fresh salad of cucumbers and tomatoes as well.
#2 Duck and rice wrap
4 duck breasts
4 flour tortillas
1 tablespoon of oil
1 bowl of cooked rice
1 cup of scallions
½ cup of Hoisin sauce
For the marinate:
1 tablespoon of oil
¼ teaspoon of salt
2 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon of soy sauce
1 teaspoon of rice wine
1 teaspoon of 5-spice powder
First you need to prepare the marinate for the duck breasts. Get a bowl and mix in it all the ingredients for the marinate. It is also important to chop thinly the garlic before you add the cloves into the bowl with the rest of the ingredients. Mix them well.
Then put the chicken breasts in the same bowl if it is big enough to hold all of them, or in a new one. Pour the marinate on top of them and make sure you cover the breasts completely so the duck breasts get seasoned well. After that leave the bowl aside for half an hour so that the meat can absorb the sauce well.
When the time is up, you need to cook the breasts. Get a deep pan and heat the tablespoon of oil in it. Then put the 4 marinated breasts in it and stir-fry them for a few minutes on each side. When the crust turns dark brown, then the breasts are ready. Leave them aside for 5 minutes to cool down.
Now you need to cut the breasts into pieces. You could slice them. You also need to wash the cucumber and the scallions and to slice them into pieces. It would be best if you do it on their long side.
And then all left for you to do is to put everything together. Get a tortilla and apply a spoonful of the Hoisin sauce all over it. Then get a couple of tablespoons of the cooked rice and apply them equally on the center of the tortilla.
Then get 4-5 pieces of duck breasts and put them on top of the rice placing them one next to the other. Put 4 long cucumber pieces next to the duck breasts pieces, on both sides of them. And lastly, put some scallion pieces on top of all the ingredients. Wrap it all inwards and then you are ready to have it!
