One of people’s favorite dishes no matter where they live is pasta. It is served all over the world. There are different variations to the dishes due to the huge interest in the dish and also due to the food variations in the different parts of the world.
People can also experiment and add different ingredients which they personally like, or to exclude the ones which are not delicious according to them. Today we decided to show you a couple of pasta recipes which you could easily try on your own at home. The result, needless to say, will be delicious! Here they are!
#1 Chicken Alfredo Penne
4 cups of cooked penne
2 chicken breasts
1 cup of sausage
2 cups of cream
1 cup of parmesan
3 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning
¼ cup of chopped parsley
2 tablespoons of olive oil
First, you need to get the chicken breasts and to cut them in pieces which need to be about a bite big. Then get a deep pan and to heat the olive oil in it. While you are waiting for it to get ready, you need to chop very, very thinly the garlic cloves.
Put them in the pan and stir them a little. Then add the sausage which needs to be cut into round pieces. Stir them together. Let them sizzle for a couple of seconds and add the chicken breast pieces.
You again need to mix all the ingredients in the pan well. While you are stirring sprinkle the seasoning on top and continue stirring for a while after that. Then you need to add the cups of cream and stir. Let the mixture start boiling a little and then add the cooked penne.
Mix the penne with the rest of the ingredients well and then add the parmesan and the chopped parsley. Stir the whole mixture well once again. In a minute take the pan off the hotplate. By this time the parmesan would have melted a little making the dish look even tastier.
And you are done! You can serve the dish while it is still hot.
#2 Shrimp Linguini
8 ounces of linguini
1 ¼ pounds of large shrimps
4 cups of baby spinach
¼ cup of parmesan
1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper
4 garlic cloves
8 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
First you need to boil the linguini. For the purpose you need to get a pot and boil water in it. Once it starts boiling, add the linguini and cook them until they become softer. After they are ready, take the pot off the hotplate and drain the water from it. Leave the linguini aside for now.
Now you need to get a deep pan and to heat the olive oil in it. Immediately after you put the olive oil, put 2 tablespoons of butter into the pan as well. Stir it with the olive oil until it melts completely.
Then you need to get the garlic and to add it into the pan with the heated oils. It would be best if you chop it beforehand. Add the crushed red pepper into the pan as well and mix the ingredients well.
Then you need to get the shrimps and to add them into the pan with the rest of the ingredients. Before you stir them, season them with some salt and black pepper to your taste.
Add the dried oregano and stir the mixture once again for a while. Then add the baby spinach, which you need to wash beforehand. Stir the ingredients well and let the baby spinach shrink a little.
Then you need to add the cooked linguini into the pan. Add also the remaining 6 tablespoons of butter and the parmesan. Then add the chopped parsley. If you do not like parsley, you could, of course, skip it.
And after that you need to stir all the ingredients in the pan well until the butter melts completely so one could not tell whether there is butter or not. Now sprinkle the lemon juice on top of the pasta and stir the ingredients once again.
And voila, the pasta is ready! You can serve it while it is still warm. Enjoy your pasta dishes!
