#1 Strawberry lemonade

Ingredients:

5 cups of water
1 cup of lemon juice
2 cups of vodka
2/3 cup of sugar
1 cup of strawberries
7 leaves of basil
1 big jug

Directions:

Step 1

This is quite an easy recipe which you could make for 5 minutes or so at home. First you will need to get a big enough jug that will be able to hold all of the ingredients. Then pour the 5 cups of water in it and the lemon juice. Mix the two ingredients together and then add the sugar and let it dissolve in it.

Step 2

The next thing you need to do is to wash the strawberries and to remove the leaves. Then you need to mash them. Make sure you do it until it turns in a pure. When this is ready, you need to add the strawberries into the jug with the other ingredients. Mix them well.

Step 3

After this is done, you need to add the basil leaves into the jug. If you do not want to drink alcohol, you may skip the next step and not to add the vodka. It depends on your taste and preferences. Mix all the ingredients once again well.

Step 4

Put the jug in the fridge for 3 hours to let it cool down. When you serve it, do not miss to add ice cubes into the glass before you pour the drink. You may also add a piece of lemon into the glass or to decorate it with it. And then you will be ready to drink it!

#2 Mint lemonade

Ingredients:

5 cups of water
2/3 cups of sugar
4 springs mint
1 cup of lemon juice
2 cups of mint alcohol

Directions:

Step 1

First you need to get a pan and to heat a cup of water in it. When it starts steaming a little add the sugar and start stirring it. Continue heating the water and stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved in the water. Then take the pan off the hot plate.

Step 2

Then get a big jug and pour the sweat water in it. After that you need to add the rest of the water into the jug and mix them together. Then you need to pour the lemon juice into the jug and stir the whole mixture.

Step 3

When this is done, add the mint springs and the mint alcohol and stir the mixture well once again. If you do not want to add the alcohol, then you could add some similar alcohol-free syrup into the jug instead. Or you could leave it like that without adding any extra min syrup.

Step 4

Once the mixture is ready you need to leave it to cool down especially taken into consideration the fact that you needed to heat some of the water to help the sugar dissolve in the water faster. You can leave it in the fridge for 2-3 hours and then the mint lemonade will be ready to be served.

Step 5

Serve it with a couple of lime pieces in it. When you pour it into glasses, do not forget to add some ice cubes to keep it cool longer. And this is it! The lemonade is ready to be drunk!
