People are probably so used to hearing that they need to do sports in order to be healthy and beautiful that they are probably tired of it. But still there are a lot of people who are not into sports and who feel bad going to the gym. They feel so uncomfortable that they stop going there or stop doing this sport after their second workout.

So, what to do if you want to lose weight, be healthy and at the same time feel good? You can try some activities that are not considered sports. This way if your mind does not think that the activity you are doing is a sport, you will not give it up so quickly. The most important thing is to have fun and feel good.

And to helpyou in this task, we have prepared for you a list of ideas and games which you can play for fun and at the same time keep fit and lose weight without even realizing it. Here they are!

#1 Dancing

There is just no way to skip including dancing in a list of fun ways to lose weight. Dancing is probably the best way a person can keep fit without realizing that they are actually burning calories. Another great thing about this activity is that one can do it at home when they are alone and nothing apart from good music is required.

And you can do it any time you are in this mood. Just play some cool music that makes you want to dance and go for it. You will just have fun, get rid of stress, burn some energy without even realizing that you are doing all of it at the same time.

#2 Hula Hoops

The next fun activity that will help you keep fit and lose weight without realizing that you are doing it is hula hooping. You probably had a hula hoop as a child but you have left it in the past and do not consider this a sport which grown-ups can do. In fact, this is not so.

First of all, everybody that wants to try hula hooping can do it. And secondly, a person can burn a lot of calories doing it. It has been estimated that a person can burn up to 600 calories hula hooping for an hour, which is even more than running.

Of course, there is no need to force yourself to spend so much time hula hooping at first. If you are a beginner, you will not be able to spend that much time. Start doing it step by step.

And another thing you can do if you do not have a hula hoop yet, make sure you get yourself a bigger one because this way you will burn more calories trying to keep rotating it on your waist.

#3 Frisbee

Any fans of Frisbees here? Well, if this is one of the ways you like spending your time, I say do it as often as possible because it will help you keep fit and burn calories, thus lose weight.

First of all, this activity only requires a companion and a Frisbee. Even if none of your friends are free to go to the park and have some active fun with you, you can take your dog there. And secondly, you will not even realize that time has passed and that you have spent it working out because you had some great fun.

All the running for the Frisbee, together with the catching and throwing, will burn about 200 calories for an hour. Of course, it depends on your weight and movement during the time, but you will not even realize that you have burnt these calories for such a short period of time.

#4 Skating

The next activity in our list is actually perfect for the coming winter season because it requires some ice. And this is ice-skating. Skating is similar to roller-blading and if you like it, then there is a big chance that you like skating as well.

The good thing about this activity is that it is fun and people often do not realize how much energy they lose while skating. One of the reason for this is that they are too focused on not falling down that they forget that they are still working out.

The next thing which can really help one burn extra calories while skating is that the temperatures there are low so the ice does not melt, but this also helps one lose extra energy because their body tries to keep itself warm which involves extra energy burning, of course.

And if you spend about an hour skating, you can burn up to 500 calories which is about as much as spending this time running. So the next time a friend of yours invites you to go skating with them, I am sure you will not mind.
